About

Britton Stanfill

Head of Product Design & Senior Director

At TubeBuddy, I helped an acquired agency and software business find shared direction when their goals and language diverged. I started with research, turned that evidence into a product vision, and helped the organization align around a path that Bill Gates later validated. That's the work I do — make complex situations legible, then turn alignment into action.

Design Philosophy

Research First

Every major decision starts with understanding, not assumptions. At TubeBuddy, that meant ~300 creator interviews over 4.5 years and building a research practice from scratch.

Show, Don't Tell

I drive change through demonstrated value. When the organization was skeptical of AI, I built an independent React Native proof in 4 weeks, guided by the production app's functionality and APIs — and changed how the organization approached AI-assisted delivery.

Design for Everyone

Accessibility is foundation, not afterthought. I taught WCAG compliance at DevMountain, and I build inclusive standards into every design system I create.

In Their Words

There is no one more deserving of a recommendation than Britton. Not only is he a driven self-starter who initiated the UX Bootcamp movement in Utah, he is also a talented problem solver, leader, and mentor. Britton taught me and many others UX design and has been instrumental in growing the product design community.
TJ Nelson UX Manager, RainFocus
Having Britton work integrated with our team was extremely effective — we could quickly iterate on the product vision with a lot of customer involvement, he brought us new technologies that improved front-end development, and he led Jive to a more customer-driven development process. Britton is a unicorn: extremely good at experience, but also exceptional as a designer.
Jay Shelley Head of Product, Chatbooks
I'm certain there isn't another employee there who works harder than Britton to make Qualtrics successful. Combine that hard work with his fantastic design and development skills and Britton makes for a fantastic employee — and one of the first people I would try to hire if I were starting a business.
Tyler McGinnis Founder, ui.dev / Fireship
Britton is a great teacher, mentor, and friend. He cares for the success of those he leads, he is intrinsically motivated, and always looking for ways to improve. He asks for criticism, keeps an open mind, and leads with confidence.
Cory McArthur UX Engineer, Sworkit
